The Heart of a Champion

One of our volunteers agreed to foster a little bulldog. The shelter had called about this tiny girl found wandering in the woods. She was a senior, blind and deaf. Her nails were so long they had curled up and she couldn’t walk without extreme pain. She was named Champion. Champion lived up to her name and improved, was very happy living with our volunteer and her other dogs. She had a wonderful time for the last six months of her life, her days were filled with love, rest and good food. She snuffled around and loved to be in the sunshine. She deserved to live out her days with dignity and she did. We loved her very much.
